"(The Trust aims to)... eliminate mixed sex accommodation, where possible, appropriate and deemed to be in the best interests of patients and service users. Where this is not possible, the Trust should justify and record each decision but then ensure that every reasonable step is taken to improve sex segregation and privacy and dignity arrangements across all of its patient accommodation."
