Service Summary
Voluntary Services comes under the Facilities Directorate. We recruit and retain people who want to volunteer to help us within the Trust. These people can come from all walks of life, some want to find employment, some want to gain experience to look into a career in nursing or medicine and some just want to help in their local community. Volunteers are placed on wards, clinics and reception areas. They can be meeters and greeters, directing and helping people to their desinations or they can be an extra pair of hands helping ward housekeepers and auxillary nurses on the wards.

• Providing a trolley service at HRI
• Providing a hospital shop and trolley service at CHH
